The Peoria Park District’s RiverPlex Recreation & Wellness Center is your one-stop shop for sports and fitness fun in Peoria!  This state of the art, medically-based fitness center is fully equipped with an indoor family aquatic center, rock climbing wall, 1/8 mile running track, a 15,900 square foot fitness floor, and more!  The RiverPlex also offers over 130 group exercise classes a week for all ages, preferences, and skill levels including water Zumba, Pilates, Les Mills, and personal training options.  With all its many amenities, the RiverPlex would be a great place your next class trip, youth group outing, or birthday party!

Drop-In Programming

PRESCHOOL SPLASH

Join us for this parent-child open time in the leisure pool. Children ages 0–5 enjoy the splash features and play stations with a parent/guardian who is dressed to swim. There is no charge for adults, but you must be in the water with your child.

PICKLEBALL

Discover the fastest-growing sport in America with Peoria Park District’s Adult Pickleball program! Join us inside the arena for this drop-in, indoor play.

Join us from May 27 through August 2, Monday-Friday from 9-11:30am.

Free for RiverPlex Members or $5/day or $40/10 visit punch pass.

BADMINTON

Join us for an active and social experience that’s perfect for all ages and skill levels!

TABLE TENNIS

Join us for a volley of fun for indoor table tennis at the Plex!

ROCK CLIMBING

Explore new heights on our 30 foot climbing wall with open climb times!

Join us on Monday and Thursday from 4-8pm and Saturday from 10am-2pm.

Two punch pass options are: 6 climbs for $30; 12 climbs for $60.

RENTALS

We offer pool rentals and gym/arena rentals at the Plex!

ARENA

With 18,000 square feet, the arena includes three basketball courts with partitions, bleachers with seating for up to 300, accessible restrooms and locker rooms, as well as two separate entrances.

AQUAPLEX

Come enjoy our two-story water slide, lazy river, zero depth pool and splash equipment!  The AquaPlex is included in a RiverPlex membership, and sells day passes for designated open swim times.

CLIMBING WALL

Our 30 foot climbing wall is equipped with two top rope routes and an auto belay device. Staff have incorporated several climbing routes that range in level of difficulty for beginner climbers as well as more experienced climbers.  All RiverPlex Rock Wall Staff are belay certified and ready to assist you. PLAYHOUSE AT THE PLEX

The Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum has redesigned our Kidz Korner with areas for creative and imaginative play, using many of the same toys that children love playing with in the museum. Staff for PlayHouse at the Plex will be PlayHouse staff, experts in play facilitation and helping children grow their curiosity and creativity. This is free for children members and open daily with select hours for children 2-10 years old. View hours and information on the Plex website.
